If you have chosen EasyJet and want to fly with your bike, you need to add it as Sports Equipment or more specifically Large Sports Equipment. Full fees details.
Fee:
- 45 GBP per flight if booked online
- 55 GBP per flight if paid at the airport
Bicycles are permitted for carriage provided that specific criteria is met:
- The bicycle must be packaged in a bicycle box or bicycle bag
- Only one bicycle per box/bag is permitted
- No other items can be carried in the bicycle box/bag (i.e. clothing)
- The handlebars must be flush with the frame.
- Pedals must be removed or flush against the frame
Bicycles with hydraulic suspensions or brake systems will be accepted. Electric bicycles are not permitted for travel..
To make sure we have enough room for everyone’s bags, we limit the hold allowance for large sports equipment. You can only buy a maximum of 6 items of large sports equipment for any booking online, even if there are more than 6 customers on the booking. If you’d like to add more than this, please contact our Customer Services Team who can check available space.
